The role of “Inside Sales Specialist Laboratory products” combines a sales role and a technical
resource for the customers across the entire direct column sales area. In addition, this position is an interface between outside Sales, Technical Group and Customer Service.

Your challenge:

  • Support and development of defined customers and sales partners for corresponding business areas in direct column sales area.
  • Identification and creation of new key accounts including building a long-term relationship with the customers.
  • Understand customer goals, priorities and challenges to provide solutions best positioned to address customer needs.
  • Responsibility for sales / margin in corresponding business areas within the scope of ​​responsibility.
  • Development and implementation of sales strategies in the pillar business.
  • Check documents, quotations and customer contacts.
  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge of our market, products and buying practices in order to effectively compete in the assigned territory.
  • Regular use of analytical tools and CRM platforms to drive territory success and achieve your goals.
  • Attend regional and national trade shows and exhibitions when necessary.
  • Identifying and pushing forward synergies for Laboratory and Process business.
  • Provide operational assistance when necessary to maintain business continuity.
  • Cooperate with Technical Support and Marketing teams to monitor and achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in the preparation of bids and tenders with particular emphasis on establishing the company's trading terms and price proposals.
  • Assist in the resolution of customer sales complaints by investigating problems.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending designated trainings when required.
  • Ensure compliance with the Code of Conduct, Quality Management System, the Company Policies and the Corporate Procedures.

    Your skills:
  • You have a Bachelor degree in Science or equivalent or a Master Degree preferably in Science.
  • You have a relevant job experience of minimum 3 years, including commercial experience in the field of chromatography products.
  • You are able to work autonomously but also enjoy working in a team.
  • You have a pro-active approach, and a commercial mindset.
  • You are a very good communicator. Your excellent communication skills enable you to keep up good customer relationships and help you to develop your sales.
  • You are customer-oriented, the customer is your first priority. You have a sales driven attitude and are flexible and empathic.
  • You are fluent in German and English (written and spoken) and knowledge of another European language is a plus.
  • MS Office excellence & knowledge of SAP.
  • You are willing to travel when necessary (10-20% of your time).
