The silica-based TSKgel reversed phase product line consists of eleven stationary phases designed for the analysis of low molecular weight analytes such as:
pharmaceutical drugs forensic compounds derivatized amino acids carbohydrates steroids, lipids, fatty acids
Depending on their molecular weight, peptides may be analyzed with the same silica-based RPC columns, while proteins require a larger pore size column (200-300 angstrom).
TSKgel silica packings are spherical with uniform pore sizes of 80, 100, 110, 120, or 250 angstrom bonded with a monomeric or polymeric layer of octadecyl, octyl, cyano, trimethylsilyl or phenyl groups. Several of the stationary phases are subsequently capped with trimethylsilyl groups by a proprietary method that deactivates the unreacted but accessible silanol groups.

100 Monomeric RP Silica
This latest generation of highly pure 100 pore size silica is the foundation for sophisticated bonding chemistries. These are the preferred columns for demanding separations of polar (TSKgel ODS-100V) and small MW basic compounds (TSKgel ODS-100Z).
80 Monomeric RP Silica
The 100 pore size makes this column type ideal for samples smaller than 6,000 Da molecular weight. This product line features exhaustively endcapped 80Ts columns for basic solutes and the moderately endcapped 80TM columns for peptide separations.
2 μm Super Series RP Silica
The Super Series provides higher efficiency and improved resolution over conventional columns packed with 3 and 5 µm particles. Pore size of 140 makes the Super Series columns most suitable for samples with molecular weight below 10,000 Da molecular weight.
Specialty RP Silica
TSKgel specialty RP silica columns were developed to provide optimum separation for:
Oligonucleotides (TSKgel OligoDNA RP)
Proteins (TSKgel TMS-250)
PAHs per EPA Method 610 (TSKgel ODS-120A)
Synthetic peptides (TSKgel ODS-120T)
| High Throughput RP Silica |
TSKgel ODS-140HTP 2.3 µm columns for high throughput reversed phase analysis were designed to provide separation efficiencies comparable to sub-2 µm particles at moderate backpressure. They can be used with both, ultra high pressure LC systems and conventional HPLC systems. suited for high throughput applications, including drug discovery, pharmacokinetics and peptide digest separations. |
Protein RP Silica
The 250 and 300Å pore sizes make these columns ideal for the separation of large biomolecules such as proteins
